Brand: Jordan Brand
Model: Nike Air Jordan V “Satin Bred”
Key Features: The sneaker features a black satin upper with red detailing on the lace lock, tongue, and sole. Reflective silver detailing appears on the tongue, with “GREATNESS” and “RECOGNIZE” printed on the inside of the tongue, and a black Jumpman on the heel.
Release Date: November 3
Buy: Nike and select retailers TBC
Editor’s Notes: Nike has already given the Air Jordan I a satin makeover, most recently on the “Shattered Backboards” iteration that dropped earlier in 2018. Now, the Swoosh has confirmed that the Air Jordan V, originally released in 1990, will be the next model to get the treatment.
Featuring Jordan Brand’s iconic “Bred” colorway, the primarily black upper is decked out in satin, giving the shoe a more luxurious feel. Reflective silver and red detailing complete what can only be described as an updated classic.
The sneaker will release on November 3 for $190 through Nike SNKRS and select retailers TBC.
