Editor’s Notes: Nike has already given the Air Jordan I the satin treatment, most recently on the “Shattered Backboards” iteration that dropped earlier in 2018. Now, according to leaked product shots, it looks like the Air Jordan V, originally released in 1990, will be the next model to get a satin makeover.
Featuring Jordan Brand’s iconic “Bred” colorway, the primarily black upper is decked out in satin, giving the shoe a more luxurious feel. Reflective silver and red detailing complete what can only be described as an updated classic.
Various outlets are reporting that the sneaker will be released in late November, possibly during the Thanksgiving holiday season.
If previous pricing is anything to go by, you can expect the Air Jordan V “Satin Bred” to retail for around $190.
