With Rio 2016 barely a few weeks away, Nike is re-releasing its premium tech runner, the Air Zoom Pegasus ’92, in time for the 31st Olympiad.
The sneaker drops as part of the reimagined Nike International collection for men and women – a line first introduced in 1989 dedicated to serving track and field athletes – with other silhouettes including the Air Presto Ultra Flyknit and the Nike Sock Dart.
The new collection riffs off Rio with a nocturnal aerial print of the city and its lights used in the collection, with techy reflective details peppering track pants, sneakers, windbreakers and Nike’s 2-in-1 pants.
Check out Nike's lush editorial pics, shot above Rio and featuring 1,500 meters star Matt Centrowitz Jnr, above, for a closer look. The new Nike International collection drops at nike.com and via select Nike Sportswear retailers from July 1.
On the skate front, check out what went down at the Nike SB AM's third round in Paris earlier this month.
