Nike and fashion designer Kim Jones have officially unveiled a collaboration on the Mercurial Superfly 360 football boot, which will be debuted by Cristiano Ronaldo when Real Madrid take on Paris Saint-Germain next week.

The Mercurial Superfly 360 was launched last month, boasting revolutionary technology that allows players to move and change direction quicker than ever before. This new iteration sees the former Louis Vuitton Artistic Director drape the boot in an all-over orange and black cheetah print.

“I grew up in Africa and have always admired the strength of animals,” says Jones, who followed his hydrogeologist father to Kenya and Botswana as a boy. “The cheetah is the fastest land animal, so it makes complete sense as an inspiration for me.”

Cristiano Ronaldo intends to wear the boot for Real Madrid's UEFA Champions League tie against PSG on March 6. It will be available to purchase exclusively at Nike Store Paris Champs Elysees and on during halftime of the match.
