According to TMZ, Ronaldo's lifetime deal with Nike is “very similar” to the one James signed last December, which is reportedly worth a cool $1 billion USD.
Ronaldo has been with the Swoosh since 2003 and over the years has donned more than 60 different Nike Mercurial boots.
“I have a great relationship with this brand, I have great friends here in the company,” says Ronaldo. “We work as a family too,” he adds. “This is my brand.”
As of right now, Cristiano is already the world's highest-paid athlete, and thanks to this new deal with Nike, that may not be changing anytime soon.
