Most of you should have heard this weekend about Breaking2, the incredible attempt by Nike to run a full marathon in under two hours. Kenyan Eliud Kipchoge, gold-medalist at the Rio Olympics and the best marathoner in the world, missed the two-hour mark by only 25 seconds and the entire world witnessed this unbelievable achievement in awe. Today Nike announces the release of the Nike Vaporfly Elite, its most advanced running shoe to date, developed specifically for the world record attempt. The problem is, it will actually never be for sale. But you are able to win it. The shoe was only built for the attempt and therefore exists only in three men’s sizes: US8, US9 and US10. Here are the rules on how to participate in the contest:

“First, download the Nike+ Run Club app. Then, run a global 5k with us for Just Do It. Sunday on May 7th or 14th (or both). That’s it. You’ll be entered into a drawing to win a free pair of Vaporfly Elites. This is your chance to own the fastest shoes money can’t buy. So mark your calendars, set a reminder or two, and we’ll see you on Sunday.”

Good luck!
