Reebok has hired former Nike employee Kelly Hibler to become the general manager of the Reebok Classics business unit. Hibler worked for Nike for 28 years, most recently as the vice president of Nike Global Basketball Footwear.

Hibler will lead the overall strategy for Reebok’s Classics business unit, including product creation, marketing, merchandising, and channel segmentation, reporting to Reebok president, Matt O’Toole.

Reebok Classics features the brand’s heritage products, including iconic sneakers such as the Classic Leather, Club C, and Freestyle. In recent years, Reebok Classics has seen a return to popularity and profitability.

In related news, Reebok has lost a trademark battle over Conor McGregor’s name.
