Sneakerheads rejoiced last month when Nike’s Sock Dart made its long-awaited debut on customizing center NIKEiD. However, the hopes of many were quickly crushed when this announcement only applied to the company’s European clientele. But as a post from Japanese publication Ring of Colour shows, the Sock Dart looks to be getting a wide release on NIKEiD next week.

Being a sneaker that is synonymous with comfort, the timing of the release is opportune for summer, allowing you to customize the footwear to your heart’s content for those lazily warm days. The Sock Dart is of course marked by its strapped one-piece upper, but the NIKEiD customization process will allow for alterations of the sock liner, strap, midsole and rear heel element.

Stay tuned for the Sock Dart to hit NIKEiD next Friday, June 2.

In other Nike news, an ultra-rare Air Jordan 6 has surface online for the price of $5,000.
