This week Carhartt Work In Progress launches its new magazine, WIP. As the label points out, WIP “seeks to highlight those who exist within the Carhartt WIP universe, and explore their practices and processes.”
The first issue thus finds artist and photographer Julian Klincewicz speaking with art curator Ligaya Salazar, delving into pop culture as a medium for art, and the importance of not working. In addition, we see skateboarder Denis Lynn venturing around Europe, from Malmo to Paris, while London-based photographer Joyce NG collaborates with stylist Ai Kamoshita on a fever dream-inspired seasonal editorial. There is also a piece on Berlin’s 1UP graffiti collective and their new photo book with Martha Cooper.
You can find WIP Issue 1 available for free in all Carhartt WIP stores and with any web orders over (approximately) $235 USD.
