Over the weekend, Kanye West and his Sunday Service team were accused of charging $55 for a Fyre Festival-like meal at Baton Rouge, Louisiana's annual fund-raising event, "Brunchella." However, it would seem that the accusation is false, as TMZ reports that the event's catering company has now taken full responsibility.

The meal went viral after a guest posted a picture on social media. Take a look below.

In a statement obtained by TMZ, Lauryn's Fine Catering — the catering company working the event — has said that the issue was blown out of proportion. "The catering company acknowledges it did not provide adequate food for ONE attendee and a social media post went viral."

It's also worth noting that as the event was a fundraiser for Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, Kanye apparently didn't receive payment for his Sunday Service performance. He also covered all travel costs for both himself and the choir. Entry to the event was free, but guests were asked to pay $55 for brunch.

After the brunch picture was posted, many took to Twitter to roast Kanye's Brunchella, comparing it to Fyre Festival. View some of the best reactions below and find out what non-brunch related things went down at the event here.
