Amid the headline-dominating controversy Kanye West has caused over the past few days with his Twitter activity, the entertainer has found time to preview some new music.

The short clip, which was filmed by TMZ Founder Harvey Levin and can be viewed above, shows ’Ye spitting bars over a simple piano beat for just under a minute.

During his impromptu performance, West references his YEEZUS song “I Am A God” and raps, self-aware as always, “It’s always a lituation when I’m involved.”

The rapper has come under fire recently for his tweets about President Donald Trump, as well as his support for anti-Black Lives Matters writer Candace Owens.
