After being snapped in China before its official release, Kanye has been flexing what may become a signature look for the "Semi-Frozen Yellow" YEEZY Boost 350 V2.
The first public look at the "Semi-Frozen Yellow" was before any announcements made by adidas. In early August, Kanye was papped at a Chinese airport rocking the silhouettes with a light blue T-shirt, matched with an even-lighter blue open hoodie and grey socks; a casual but standout look. The highlighter yellow is a slick color match against the pale, almost pastel blue top half.
Later on, in the same month, Kanye was papped again at Takashi Murakami's studio with rapper Kid Cudi. Rocking almost the exact same fit, Ye swapped out the pale blue hoodie for a lighter grey one, which gave the shoe a little more emphasis, especially with the off-black, rolled cuff jeans.
More recently, the Life of Pablo rapper was seen with Irv Gotti in a similar color scheme; blue/green top half and grey/off-black bottoms. Matched now with shorts instead of trousers, gray shorts, and socks keep the kicks looking fresh even in the dark, as the reflector heel tab catches the flash from the picture.
Collectively, Kanye seems to be rocking a soft-color palate for highlighter tones kicks to stand out. The simple, relaxed look could be perfect for bringing in colors into the winter wardrobe alongside room for layering other items and accessories.
With adidas recently announcing upcoming colorway launches for the model, including "Bold Orange" and "Solid Grey," this could be the quickest and most stylish fit for the Yeezy drop.
