You may well now be able to purchase Kanye West's new YEEZY football cleats, but NFL superstars sporting them can expect a hefty bill from the league office.

Houston Texans' DeAndre Hopkins received his fine on Thursday for wearing the adidas shoes designed by Kanye West when his team faced the Chicago Bears.

Hopkins, who has an endorsement deal with adidas, was fined $6,000 and said he doesn't plan on wearing them again, "unless Kanye plans to pay his fine," according to the Houston Chronicle.

The NFL, which usually fines players for nearly any violation of its uniform policy, did however let players wear tribute cleats for Sept. 11 last weekend to commemorate the anniversary of 9/11.

Yeezy cleats were released Thursday morning for $250. They are now sold out, unsurprisingly.
