With the Nike Air Jordan 4 “Bred” set to drop on May 4, Jordan Brand has unveiled a trailer that plays on the shoe's colorway nickname. The term “Bred” is of course an abbreviation of black and red, a color combination that Nike often uses.

Captioned “Bred for the moment” the trailer compares Michael Jordan’s “iron will” to the iron that is in bread. The voiceover also argues “mankind lives on bread” and that “iron carries oxygen” and energizes, insinuating that the “Bred” Air Jordan 4 will do the same.

While silly and clearly nonsensical, which a few users pointed out on Twitter and Instagram, followers of Jordan Brand on social media were quick to roast the video in the comments. Some were quick to point out the obvious, noting "It’s called bred not bread," while another follower commented "Y’all really playing on the “bre(a)d” ? Y’all should have used corn, if you know what I mean..."

Here's everything you need to know about copping the Nike Air Jordan 4 "Bred" on May 4.
