Nike is getting ready for the colder months with a new Air Max 1 complete with sherpa fleece linings and heavy duty stitching.
The Air Max 1, created by Tinker Hatfield in 1987, ushered in the start of visible air pockets and stands as one of the most influential running sneakers of all time. Of course nowadays the shoe is more of a lifestyle sneaker, and it really shows on this wooly new addition for FW16.
Available in "Tan" and "Bred" colorways, the suede heavy builds adds sherpa fleece inner padding and tongues (it’s a little less obvious on the "Tan" pair than the bushy fluff popping out of the tongue with the "Bred" pair) along with heavy duty, premium stitching on the mudguard for a unique twist on the beloved silhouette.
Check them out above, and stay tuned for a release date in the coming weeks.
