Model: Air Max 98 “UK”
Key Features: Featuring an all-white upper with gold accents, set amongst a gold leather mudguard, the sneaker’s recognizable bulky form is decked out in classic Nike Air branding. In addition to this, an enlarged AIRMAX logo can be seen on the medial side, “2018” on the heel tab, and 00°00′coordinates on the insole and forefoot make this particular colorway unique. The leather and mesh upper sits atop the customary full-length Max Air sole unit.

Editor’s Notes: Bulky running shoes are in, which has led to the resurgence of a lot of retro models. Nike has taken full advantage with hybrid silhouettes like the Air VaporMax Plus and now the Air Max 98, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.
The Air Max 98 has already released in two retro colorways, the “Gundam” and the “Fearless ’90s”, however this new white and gold variation dubbed simply, “UK”, takes the (very early) title for best Air Max 98 of the year.
What makes it so special is that it blends two of fashion’s most hyped trends, a distinctly bulky form coupled with overt branding. And in case white and gold is not quite your thing, Nike lifted the lid on a very special Valentine’s Day special right here.
