The past two months have seen Nike explore new ways of bringing the classic Air Max sneaker into the present, from the limited edition of ’90 Ultra Superfly T to the online-only collaboration with Supreme on the ’98. Now Nike has dropped yet another iteration: the Air Max Mercurial ’98 FC.
Combining the original Mercurial cleat with Air Max cushioning and a Hyperfuse construction, the ’98 FC is an exercise in hybridization. It has arrived in a Deep Royal Blue/Black color way, offset by a stark white midsole and reflective stripes on the side.
The Nike Air Max Mercurial ’98 FC is available at Overkill.
Nike also just released the LunarEpic Flyknit in "Glacier Ice."
