Amidst a controversy involving sexual assault allegations against A$AP Bari, a Nike source has confirmed that the company is no longer working with him. The allegations arose after a controversial video surfaced earlier this month. In the aftermath, A$AP Bari took to social media to post a statement hoping to better explain the situation and his remorse.
Nike has yet to make an official statement, but according to our source, the brand has cut ties with A$AP Bari. It is unclear if it means that the upcoming VLONE x Nike collaborations displayed at Paris Fashion Week have also been cancelled, but it's logical that as a result of the partnership termination, those sneakers won't see the light of day.
The collaborations between A$AP Bari and Nike only started just last year, with the release of a co-branded Air Force 1 that dropped at ComplexCon and during New York Fashion Week in January.
