Key Features: The Nike Daybreak was a revolutionary running shoe when it debuted in the late ’70s due to its lightweight nylon and suede upper construction. Today’s version keeps things OG with the same simple upper, a EVA midsole and Nike’s “waffle” outsole.
Release Date: August 28
Editor’s Notes: Following the high-profile UNDERCOVER collaboration on the same silhouette, Nike prepares to release three colorways of its Daybreak, which originally released in 1979. The Nike Daybreak is available in three colorways: Lavender Mist, Metallic Silver, and Metallic Gold. All three stay true to the original, no-frills design that was once revolutionary and in today’s world of exaggerated silhouettes, is considered a muted, no-frills style.
Check out all three colorways above and stay tuned for further release information.
