Model: Hyper Adapt 1.0 "Wolf Grey"
Key Features: Powered by an electronic underfoot-lacing mechanism, the latest Hyper Adapt arrives in a patterned "Wolf Grey" upper with a white midsole and black Swoosh. The tongue features the acronym “EARL,” which stands for Electro Adaptive Reactive Lacing.
Release Date: February 2
Editor’s Notes: After dropping an orange digi-camo iteration of the Hyper Adapt recently, Nike's next version in "Wolf Grey" is set to follow on February 2.
Essentially one of Nike‘s most expensive sneakers ever due to its self-lacing tech, the Nike HyperAdapt 1.0’s retail price is not for the feint of heart, however, owning a pair of Nike’s most futuristic and technologically advanced kicks might be well worth the $720 for some sneakerheads.
Much like its cousin, the Nike Air Mag that released in a self-lacing model last year, the Hyper Adapt 1.0 is one of the most sought-after sneakers for collectors and is almost as hard to find on the aftermarket as it is to cop at retail.
Set to be extremely limited, keep an eye on the Nike SNKRS app for the drop come February 2. In the meantime, flip through the imagery above and let us know in the comments whether you’re copping or not.
