Following up on the release of the Air Zoom Pegasus 34 Mo Farah, a custom sneaker designed for British distance runner Mo Farah, Nike is back with a new short film celebrating Farah's historic career, which includes multiple Olympic, World and European Championships.
Dubbed Smile, the picture was created by Wieden+Kennedy, directed by Mark Zibert and produced by Rogue Films, as it ultimately delves into Farah's unseen grueling journey and the mental strength behind his smiley persona. We in turn get to experience the runner's toughest moments throughout his ascension to the top of the sport, all set against the backdrop of his hometown of London.
In addition, fellow Englishman and spoken-word artist George the Poe narrates one specific human truth that we can hopefully all identify with, in that behind every smile, there is a story that is never as easy as it seems.
