Last week, the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles hosted an intimate session with Post Malone. The platinum-selling musician sat down with executive director Scott Goldman to discuss his rapid ascent to success and his experience working with the industry’s best.

He talked about his upcoming projects and shared insights on his relationship with Justin Bieber, including what it was like to tour with him as an opener. Kanye West also came up in conversation, as the rapper collaborated with him on his The Life of Pablo track “Fade,” and Yeezy was supposed to feature on Malone’s debut album Stoney.

“Working with Kanye is like working with Jesus Christ,” to which Goldman replied, “I’m sure Kanye thinks that.” Malone added that Kanye is also like a stepfather — you’re afraid of him, but you love him.

We last saw Post Malone surprising his friend Rich Chigga with a birthday cake and a gospel choir performing the Indonesian rapper’s latest song “Glow Like Dat.” Malone is currently gearing up to release his sophomore album, Beerbongs and Bentleys.
