Following Kanye West's string of pro Donald Trump tweets from yesterday, Stephen Colbert decided to address the situation on the most recent episode of The Late Show.

First off, Colbert recognized Kanye's post of his Make America Great Again hat, which was accompanied by 30 fire emojis. “Now that is fitting because that is how many times I would set that hat on fire,” the late night talk show host insisted.

“I think Kanye is lobbying for a job as Trump’s new communications director. He could just change his name to Kellyanne Kanye,” Colbert went on to add.

Pertaining to his support of Trump, West also tweeted that he has the right to think freely and independently just like anyone else, to which Colbert replied, “Yes, we have the right to independent thought and I independently think Kanye has lost his mind.”

Colbert then alluded to the fact that 'Ye might want to shy away from social media these days. “You know what, Kanye?” he said. “Donald Trump is your brother and I am your brother too and brother to brother, I just want to say ‘put the phone down.'”

“I assume because an alarm went off in the White House that someone on Twitter was being crazier than him,” the talk show host concluded. “Yes, it is a total bro fest. Look for their new album Yeezy & Sleazy.”
