Vans has partnered with Tyler Kord, owner and head chef of the No. 7 family of restaurants, to release an exclusive offering of the original Classic Slip-On. Vans designers worked with Kord to enhance the footbed for better cushioning and arch support in order to stand for a long period of time, while a siped outsole provides better traction for moving around on slippery kitchen floors. The special edition Classic Slip-On is all-black to better hide stains, and the canvas is treated with Vansguard to repel liquids, food and grime. Unfortunately not available to the public, the No. 7 Vans Classic Slip-On will be worn by Kord and his staff at his Brooklyn location.

If you're feeling a bit jealous be sure to check out the "Black Crab" editions of the Sk8-Hi and Authentic LX, as they are both available to the public and kitchen-ready.
