Longtime collaborators Vans and DQM are releasing a winter-ready "Quilted" Sk8 Hi MTE pack, combining influences of classic technical outdoor footwear with a luxury aesthetic.

The pack sees the Sk8 Hi silhouette get a complete overhaul using premium materials, with a quilted tongue and deconstructed styling. Both pairs feature a heat retention layer between the sockliner and outsole to keep your feet warm when the temperatures start to drop, as well as a padded collar and heel counters for support, a vulcanized lug outsole for maximum traction in wet weather, and premium weatherproof leather uppers.

Available in "Navy" and "British Khaki," the limited edition shoes will be sold exclusively at DQM and The General store in New York, with 'The General: DQM for Vans' logos on the insoles and ‘DQM’ logos on the heel tabs. Another nice little touch sees custom striped nylon pull tabs help slip them on over thick winter socks.

The "Quilted" Sk8-Hi MTE pack will be available online at dqmnewyork.com and in store at The General in New York on Thursday, October 27.

Meanwhile, here are the 15 best sneakers worn at Crepe City Fall 2016.
