Cop It, Then Rock It

After having only just brought back its cult sportswear line, Prada’s once thriving history steeped in the use of technical materials and cuts that departed from the elegance it is otherwise known for in “high-fashion” circles, is set to make a huge comeback in 2018. And in case you are still a little lost as to why this revival is such a big deal, be sure to read our most recent interview with a sportswear expert right here, and let him set the record straight.

Not only have the brand’s Cloudbust begun circulating many of the contemporary fashion circles seen at Europe’s most recent fashion weeks, they are also on track to become a defining silhouette of the new year, in much the same way that Balenciaga’s Triple S whipped 2017’s footwear market into a frenzy.

So, without further ado, you can now shop 11 of our favorite Prada Cloudbust sneakers below, in a wide variety of colors suitable for any taste.

And in case you are not quite ready to break the bank just yet and want to prolong the investment, a colorway from Prada’s Spring/Summer 2018 collection can now be pre-ordered directly from LUISAVIAROMA below.

Despite the Cloudbust having already fallen into the “ugly sneaker” realm, for reasons unclear, perhaps due to the fact its release coincided with a general footwear trend whereby everything was quick to be deemed unsightly by the world’s fashion aficionados, this new Prada silhouette is refined in every sense of the word. And should you be one of the haters yourself, we have rounded up some Instagram inspiration below to help change your mind.
