Coinciding with his new Vans Old Skool collaboration, Montreal tastemaker Justin Saunders aka JJJJound is hosting a pop-up art installation in his home city.
Titled “Patience,” the installation comments on the ever-changing function of a retail environment. The space is laid out like a traditional storefront, and customers will have the opportunity to purchase items, however goods will be delivered later via mail.
The store’s decor was picked to match the aesthetic of JJJJound’s digital moodboard, the success of which led Justin to work and collaborate with the likes of Kanye West and DONDA, as well as others in music and fashion.
Open for only a short duration until May 19, the “Patience” exhibition is the exclusive point of sale for the JJJJound x Vans Old Skool pack. Retailing at $150 CAD (approx $110 USD), each pair is crafted from organic eight ounce canvas, and features made-in-USA laces, and a custom ’90s-inspired JJJJound sticker.
