Grailed has partnered with The Kickback, a sneaker drive founded by Toronto photographer Jamal Burger, who goes by @jayscale on Instagram, to sell 25 pairs of sneakers belonging to NBA and NFL athletes.

Participating athletes include Kyle Lowry, Victor Cruz, Jaelen Strong, Emmanuel Mudiay, and Todd Gurley. The sneakers all come from the athletes' personal collections, with some of them signed.

Profits from the sales of the sneakers will go toward buying sneakers for children in need in each of the players' cities, as well as a donation to a charity of the athlete's choice.

Although a full list of the available shoes has yet to be announced, the sale will go live on Wednesday, September 19 at 12 p.m. EDT on Grailed.

The Kickback aims to introduce creative arts, increase access to play and education, and build character and community all through sneakers.

In a press release, Lowry said, “It’s important to give back to your community because that’s where you came from. It’s an opportunity to show these kids that anybody can make it out and that they could make it out if I did… They just want someone to be around them and that’s enough. Even though we’re the ones that are famous, those kids are the ones we should celebrate.”

Grailed has hosted sales of this nature in the past, previously partnering with Jerry Lorenzo and Lil Yachty to sell their wardrobes via the platform.

Be sure to check out Grailed at noon EST today, September 19 for the chance to purchase one of the 25 pairs of sneakers on offer via the link below.
