In case you’re still hawking the grey market for their last collaboration, FDMTL has just unveiled the upcoming “Deep Indigo” collection which might satisfy your patchwork craving.
The Japanese denim specialists pick up where they left off with a new interpretation of the “sashiko” stitched Vans Slip-On released this summer, and adds the Sk8-Hi silhouette to the mix. This time around, FDMTL has opted for a much deeper indigo to dye the various panels and materials. With time, the dark wash on the patchwork upper is sure to fade and develop a unique personal character. Both pairs will come in custom packaging with white and black shoelace options accompanying the Sk8-Hi.
Additionally, the collection is to include accessories including a cap and bag bearing the same fabrics as the sneakers. Release is currently slated for early 2017, so stay tuned for more updates.
