Rap music videos are typically all about the head-to-toe lifestyle flex, with grills, chains, Goyard bags and the like. Parisian rapper Jidde keeps it below the knee in his latest video for “B.E.P.E.” focusing on sneakers in their natural habitat – dancing in the streets, chilling by the banks of the Seine, and on the basketball court.
Jidde seems to have a thing for Nike, with the video featuring sweet kicks from the brand including Air VaporMax, Air Max 95s, Air Jordan III, Air Max I, and the Flyknit Chukka, to name a few.
Aside from the dope video with its fresh kicks, the track itself ain’t half bad with a laid-back beat, a sick saxophone melody, and lyrics likening freedom to wearing sneakers in the middle of summer.
