American footwear brand K-Swiss celebrates the release of El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie by teaming up with the award-winning AMC series on a pair of highly limited Classic 2000 sneakers. Officially titled the K-Swiss x Breaking Bad Classic 2000 “Recreational Vehicle,” the sneakers are inspired by the rundown RV-turned-mobile-meth-lab driven by high school chemistry teacher Walter White.
Details include a direct reference to the infamous RV in the form of an off-white colorway with a multicolor stripe color scheme which wraps around the shoe. The design is finished off with a lining that references the vehicle's upholstery. The sneakers come housed in a shoebox that continues the theme with the same striped colorways seen on the shoe and RV, alongside bullet holes inspired by the action of the pilot episode.
In total, only 300 pairs will be released. To get your hands on a pair, look for the K-Swiss x Breaking Bad Classic 2000 “Recreational Vehicle” to release on October 17 through the Greenhouse app and at the Breaking Bad Experience in Hollywood. 50 pairs will be available for purchase at the Hollywood event with the remaining 250 pairs available through the Greenhouse app. If any pairs are left after this initial limited run, the sneakers will be released on kswiss.com late October 2019. The limited-edition style is offered in men’s and women’s sizes and retails for $80.00.
