Perennially ranked as hip-hop's wealthiest man, it comes as no surprise that Sean "Diddy" Combs has a taste for expensive sneakers. Following last week's episode with wrestler Ric Flair, Complex's Sneaker Shopping series continues with the Bad Boy Records chieftain dropping a few thousand bands.
Joining host Joe La Puma at Stadium Goods NYC, Diddy outs himself as something of a sneaker sage, making a beeline for sought-after models including the Nike Dunk High Pro SB Supreme and Air Jordan 12 Retro OVO. Most pricey of all is the Air Jordan LE Defining Pack, which the rapper-cum-entrepreneur has no issues dropping $1350 on (let's face it, he's probably made that money back by the time the interview was finished).
As always, the guest appears to relax while indulging in some retail therapy, opening up on a range of topics. Diddy talks about his early days in the game and relationship with Biggie Smalls, revealing how he canned a shoe with Jordan Brand as his fallen friend would have been unsatisfied with the early renderings. At the end, he even has time to deliver a clarion call, urging the next generation of sneaker designers to step up and be counted.
