Our latest 'Sneaker Rotation' installment showcases the shoes of British menswear designer, Joseph Turvey.
Joseph Turvey is rarely seen without a pair of sneakers on his size 12 feet, and is well known for kitting his models out in fresh pairs for his menswear presentations and shows. In his designs, Joseph takes inspiration from original streetwear and his favorite everyday sneakers show an appreciation for classic style combined with forward-thinking design. On rotation, Joseph has the Nike KD7 "Easy Money" and the Nike Air Trainer SC High Sneakerboot, plus classic shoes such as the adidas Originals Superstar 80s and the Nike Air Max 90 Essential.
Read on to see the most worn sneakers in Joseph’s world.

adidas Originals Superstar 80s
Everyone at some point in their life has owned a pair of shell-toes. I had numerous pairs and colors as a kid and I was lucky enough for adidas Originals to sponsor my Spring/Summer 2014 presentation during London Collections: Men. I will keep this pair forever and continue to buy shell-toes for years to come.

Nike Air Max 90 Essential
I have a rather big collection of Air Max in pretty much every color, print and fabric imaginable. I grew up wearing these sneakers and I have continued to wear them and spend far too much money on "collecting" different pairs. However, you can't beat a classic pair of all white...I only just got these ready for the summer!

I own a few different pairs of the KDs; they are super comfortable and supportive. I have worn these so many times yet they still look pretty much brand new. I am one of those sneaker wearers that wants my trainers to look new and unworn at all times. My next purchase is going to be Nike KD7 "What The" and it won't be my last.

Nike Air Trainer Huarache
I worked with JD Sports on some shoots and editorials, and included a range of Huarache sneakers in my Spring/Summer 2015 "Girls" Wonderland editorial. The shoot was androgynous and bridged the gap between mens and womenswear. They kindly gifted me a pair of the Nike Air Trainer Huarache after the shoot and I chose the cool blue pair.

Nike Air Trainer SC High Sneakerboot
I only ever wear sneakers and over the winter months I was getting pretty tired of being caught out in the rain. These waterproof Sneakerboots are the best solution and have super grips for outside durability.

Nike Roshe One
I have wanted a pair of Roshe Ones for a while but always ended up buying another pair of Air Max instead as I really wouldn't ever use these for running. JD Sports kindly gifted me a pair as I wanted something to throw on and not care about destroying them in the studio or when out and about in London.
